Mrs. Lawrence Meyers' Ham Ring with Hot Cherry Sauce was one of the winning recipes at the 1968 National Cherry Festival in Traverse City. Mrs. Meyers, who enjoys devising recipes using her family's favorite fruit, also won a prize at this summer's festival with her recipe for Cherry Meringue Dessert.
