Parade Spearhead: Grand Marshal Thomas A. FitzGerald, right foreground, leads Saturday's all-veterans parade opening Rededication Week observances prior to Thursday's arrival of the Freedom Train. FitzGerald is followed by an honorary color guard, the Detroit Police band, and marching units of the Ann Arbor police and fire departments. Thousand flanked Huron, State, William, and Main Sts. to watch the marchers. At the Courthouse terminus, the parade gave way to a rededication program.
