THIS IS FUTURE COURT FOR MEN'S DORMITORIES: In the midst of construction work on Allen and Rumsey houses, new University residences for men, the inner court is decidedly not a thing of beauty. Development of the court depends not only on completion of the dormitory units at the right and the Michigan Union addition (left background) but also on prospective future dormitory units which will form a quadrangle. The picture shows the north side of the new dormitories, with the entrance to Allen house at the left and Rumsey house to the right.
