BUILDING ORDERED RAZED: Barricades keep persons away from a building at 115 N. Main St. condemned and ordered torn down by the city. Constantly developing cracks and deterioration of the foundation caused the city to cite the building as perilous to the public. Recent deterioration of the building stemmed from demolition of the old Whitney Theater next door. Razing of the theater involved steps to remove a common wall between the theater and the condemned building. The building to be razed is the structure to the right of the “Main Cafe” sign.
