In related items last night, the council approved the purchase of four parcels of land, two for the Packard Rd. widening and two for the Packard-Beakes bypass.  It approved payment of $1 plus agreeing to pay the cost of curb-and-gutter installation for the Slavic property on Packard with 139 feet of frontage, approved $400 for the purchase of 95 feet of right-of-way at 2312 Packard, approved the payment o f $10,000 for property at 415 N. Main and $16,000 for property at 119 W. Kingsley.

Also, the council approved purchase of several State Highway Department parcels. It approved $25 for the purchase of 1,100 square feet at the end of Salem Ct., $1,000 for three parcels totaling five acres on the west side of 1-94 between Scio Church Rd. and Liberty, and $1,525 for four parcels on either side of M-14 at Beachwood.
