Everything went well for the University of Michigan at Michigan Stadium yesterday afternoon. The weather was fine, the U-M football team was fine as it rolled over the University of Washington, 45-7, and the U-M Marching Band was fine. The tone of afternoon for U-M fans was set early as the band came onto the field in its traditionally smart, high-stepping manner. And the festive spirit was captured pictorially by News Photographer Cecil Lockard.
